X-Treme 2017 Summit 48V LiPo4 Mid Motor Electric Mountain Bike

Now available at The Ewheels Shop is the brand new 2017 X-Treme Summit 48 Mid Motor Electric Mountain Bicycle featuring an extra Large 10 AH 48 Volt LiPo4 lightweight battery pack. X-Treme Summit 48 is one of the first electric bikes to introduce the motor in the center of the lower frame and as a combined part of the crank system (Hence: Mid Motor).

The benefits of a Mid Motor system included but are not limited to Zero Resistance when pedaling with the power off, low center of gravity for better handling, greater performance & lighter weight. Most of all, when the power is off and you are powering the bike by pedaling, because there is zero resistance and no heavy rear hub motor to pedal against, your overall riding experience will be very similar if not nearly identical to that of a non-electric powered bicycle (when the power is turned off).

Smart Power Assist System (SPAS): The electronics of this X-Treme Electric Bicycle are controlled via rider input on the Kingmeter LCD screen attached to the handlebars. Smart PAS with 5 speeds will enable the bike to operate nearly twice as efficient as a non-smart assist e-bike, because you select the power consumption (speed control 1-5 setting) on the LCD during your ride. This feature can allow your Summit Elite to possibly reach or exceed 40+ miles per charge (during optimal terrain conditions) LCD also indicates Speed, Distance & Battery Life.
